June 12th
Absract Watercolor Lesson

GCAC Members, Mary Archibald, Meed Barnett, Jessica Ring, and Jennifer Burke attended this years YMCA Arts Weekend in NH and brought back this watercolor lesson to share. Thursday Night during the GCAC's monthly buisness meeting members took part in learning this watercolor technique in the style of Artist Kate Lemay. Kate says the work makes itself. She puts in time and effort and the pieces are born. She belives materials used to make art all have physical properties and there are endless combinations in the way that these properties can express themselves. Visit Kate's web site to see more!
